Catheine Wise

While I certainly do not think much of Paris Hilton (I don't think of her at all, really), I do hope she will follow through on her stated desire to help women released from prison and returning to the community. If she does, perhaps something good will come of all the ridiculous hoopla surrounding her incarceration. It's not for any of us to say what makes another person's life worthwhile, but I suspect working on a project like that would give some purpose to Hilton's life. This whole situation is illustrative that the destructive nature of purposelessness cuts across all social and economic boundaries.
